3 ways to give up, down, all around

It’s a beautiful thing to see a community come together, give a little, and get a lot. The folks up, down, and all around Foster are working together to raise funds and show support for the following projects and causes in 2012:

The Wikman-Arleta Building project

In attempts to raise the necessary funding ($3000.00) for PDC’s DOS (Development Opportunity Services) Program, which awards an additional $12,000 to the Wikman-Arleta Building Project donation jars have been placed in local businesses. Drop your change and weigh in on this historic landmark’s future.

For more information visit the project online at http://wikman-arleta.org/

Feast for Southeast

Feast for Southeast has placed donation boxes at Pieper Cafe, Torta-landia, and Bar Carlo, for their “Project Warmth.”  Not only are they feeding the hungry for Thanksgiving, but they’re keeping people warm, too.  Drop off any extra hats, gloves, socks, or scarves at any of the above locations.
