Get an early start on your Halloween celebrations this Friday at Mt. Scott Community Center’s Halloween Carnival. The evening promises a haunted house, crafts, facepainting, creative costume prizes, bounce houses, bingo, indoor park & family swim. The carnival is from 6-8 p.m. and it’s $3 per person or 4 canned food goods per person. Or tap yourself into an IPA pint while listening to Crooked Toad over at N.W.I.P.A. or singing karaoke at Dusty’s Bar and Grill.
Journey out for a Saturday morning coffee at Pieper Cafe and join the Feast for Southeast canvasing party from 9:30-11:30. Continue your Saturday festivities at Carts on Foster, enjoying bands, ciders, and brats at the Cider Sampling Fest from noon to 6:00. The line up includes Finn River Black Currant, Blue Mountain’s Cherry, Ace Pumpkin, and Anthem Hops and Pear and more. And for the beer drinkers, Lompoc Monster Madness and Razz Wheat will be offered up. Make sure to welcome back an old favorite food cart while you’re there; Flyin’ Hawaiian has returned!
After cider tastings and lunch, head home and take a nap so you’re ready for Saturday night! Here’s the offerings, certainly something within stumbling distance for everyone.
