Last night the Lents Neighborhood Association elected a new slate of leaders, including a new Chair. Although a newcomer to the LNA Board, incoming Chair Jesse Cornett is a familiar face as a former City Council candidate and staffer for State Senator Jackie Dingfelder.
Asked how he would approach leading the neighborhood, Jesse told me that ”we have a really diverse population in Lents and I think it’s important that they all feel heard and represented.”
Also elected to two-year terms on the Board were David Hyde as Transportation Chair and Teresa Swett as an At-Large Member who will focus on relationships between LNA and local schools. Carolee Harrison was elected to one year as Vice Chair.
