This week marks the start of a monthly traveling Supper Club celebrating local restaurants, meeting new friends and family style dining. The adventure begins this Thursday night at Powell Seafood Restaurant.
Gracious hosts, Owner Manna Chan and husband chef Huang Chan have been proudly serving Cantonese and Mandarin cuisine to the community for the past 20 years. Manna has called the neighborhood home since she arrived here from China in her early twenties and opened her restaurant just down the street.
Manna’s enthusiasm and smile are worth the trip every time, especially as she talks about the Supper Club dishes: sizzling seafood clay pots, salt and pepper skinny fish, hot and spicy tomato sauce shrimp, along with the classic sweet and sour combos, general Tsao’s chicken and more! It will be a chef’s selection and dishes will be shared at a table for up to 25.
